Education - Pastor Karl is a graduate of Central Square's Paul V. Moore High School, Syracuse University, Free Will Baptist Bible College and Faith Baptist Seminary.
Ministry - He has ministered to churches in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and New York serving in the offices of pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor and school administrator since his call to ministry in 1973.
Family - Pastor Karl and his wife Bonnie have been married for 33 years and have two adult children. Jason, earned a BS in interdisciplinay studies from Mississippi State. He and his wife, Sally Tumlinson Novak, reside in Tennesee. Sally holds a masters degree in social work. Daughter Annie Novak Johnson, holds a BSN and is a registered nurse in jackson MS. Her husband, Steven, has completed his degree in X-Ray Technology and is now a CT scanner at the same hospital where Annie works. Annie and Steven are proud parents of Anna Cecille Johnson, the Novaks' first grandchild, born June 16, 2006!
The Pastor's Wife - Bonnie Novak is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and Mississippi State University. She is and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education through Liberty University. She is Assistant Professor of Teaching English as a Second Language, TESL Concentration Chair and General Education Division Head at Davis College in Johnson City, NY. She has conducted TESL seminars training teachers around the world from New York City to Thailand. Bonnie also teaches as an adjunct online professor of English at Liberty University. Her experience includes 5 years of adjunct professorship at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse. Bonnie trusted Christ as her savior at age 5 and has served Him ever since.
Testimony - Since trusting Christ in 1972, Pastor Karl's passion has been to share the love and the saving transforming power of Christ with as many people as possible. God initially gave him the vision to plant a new church in Central New York more than twenty years ago, and that vision began to become a reality in June 2000.
